CRYMYCH have moved into the Pembs KO Cup final despite having not played a game in the competition so far this season.

The Preseli Men were set to host Fishguard in the final four tomorrow night (Tuesday), but Charles Davies, secretary of the Pembroke and District Rugby Union, confirmed to Telegraph Sport this morning the latter have withdrawn citing injuries and player unavailability.

Crymych had already received a walkover for the same reasons against Cardigan in the quarter finals, and were one of the teams to be randomly drawn a bye in round one.

The second scheduled semi-final sees Whitland host Tenby United at Parc Llwyn Ty Gwyn next Wednesday, May 18.

The final will then take place on Wednesday, May 25, at Haverfordwest RFC.

Indeed, out of the eleven scheduled KO Cup ties this season, only three have been fulfilled.
