Pembrokeshire Harriers athletes amazingly won 20 gold, eight silver and 18 bronze medals at the West Wales Championships held in Swansea on Sunday, May 15.
What a great day for the athletes, family and friends. Lots of success with many medals won, many personal bests achieved also a Welsh record and a few club records broken.
There were so many great performances, but one performance that really stood out was James Tomlinson who threw a distance of 58.93m in the discus, which is a new Welsh record (he broke it a couple of times on the day) this sees James ranked number one in UK and Europe for his age group.
Lydia Thomas also broke the U17 women’s 300m hurdles with a club record time of 44.94s.
