THE second round line ups for the Harrison Allen Bowl and DR Morris Cup are almost finalised after this past week of evening cup cricket.

Last night, Kilgetty won at Lawrenny in the Bowl in the final over, and a James Skeels inspired Lamphey beat Hook in the DR Morris.

Harrison Allen Bowl Round 1: Lawrenny (107 all out) lost to Kilgetty (108-5) by 5 wickets

There was a thrilling finish at Lawrenny as visitors Kilgetty edged into round two off the final ball of the match.

The home side collapsed to 107 all out in their innings as Brad McDermott-Jenkins top scored wih 26, but although Ian Jenkins (17), Rob Williams (13) and Rob Morton (13), all got starts - Kurtis Marsh (4-23), Ross Hardy (1-25), Toby Poole (2-19), and Jon Harris (3-9) put Kilgetty in a winning position.

The visitors also struggled in their as Williams (3-20), Morton (2-22), and McDermott-Jenkins (1-22) kept Lawrenny in it.

But 29 from Harris and 22 from Kyle Marsh proved crucial knocks - and Jack Parkinson (15 not out) held his nerve to steer Kilgetty to victory off the final ball.

DR Morris Cup Round 1: Hook (92 all out) lost to Lamphey (186-5) by 94 runs

James Skeels smashed 109 off just 44 balls to help Lamphey into the next round at Hook.

Skeels inspired his side to 186-5, with support from Mark Yea (26) and Luca Trimarco (20). For Hook, Matthew Holder (2-41) and Brennan Martin (2-16) led the bowling.

Only Jake Wicks (37) got going in the home side's reply, as Peter McGolloway (2-25), Hywel Gibbs (2-25), and Dean Lawrence (3-16) played major hands in shooting them out for 92.
