BURTON and Llanrhian will be the only non Division One sides to go into the Harrison Allen Bowl quarter final draw following this week's matches.

On Tuesday, Division Two team Burton edged past Kilgetty by four wickets at Oatfield Park.

The visitors could only post 118-7 in 22 overs, thanks to Kurtis Marsh (38) and namesake Kyle (46), as Luke Hayman (4-15) helped keep Burton in control.

Jon Venables (43) and Martin James (35) then played vital hands in sending their team through, as they reached 122-6 despite the efforts of Jack Parkinson (3-33).

Also on Tuesday, Neyland made light work of Division Three side Lamphey at The Athletic Ground.

Despite a defiant 26 from the in-form James Skeels, Henry Durrant (6-26), Andrew Miller (3-18), and Patrick Bellerby (1-19) shot the visitors out for 74.

Openers Nick Koomen (39 not out) and Gregg Miller (27 not out) then eased Neyland home by ten wickets.

On Wednesday, Llanrhian booked their passage into the quarter final without having to step onto the field after Hundleton conceded the tie.

Division Three side Herbrandston paid the price for only posting 91 all out against Whitland.

Dean John top scored for Herbie with 18, but Ben Harvey (4-9), Scott Newton (3-24), and Iestyn Scourfield (2-28) secured a simple chase for Whitland, who got home by eight wickets as Wayne Howells made 26 not out.

Carew had their expected win at home to a Laugharne side who have returned to local cricket this season.

The Rooks made 218-6 - as Rhys Davies (73) and Tim Hicks (75) scored big despite the efforts of Carl Smith (2-50) and James Incledon (2-44) for the visitors.

James Stephenson made 30 not out in the Laugharne reply, but they fell exactly 100 runs short at 118-8, as Max Brindley (4-37) bowled well for Carew.

There was an exciting tie at Glebelands after Johnston hit 102-7 against St Ishmaels.

Danny Dewstowe (22 not out), Chris Fitzpatrick (21) and Ross Dewstowe (20) all got starts for the home side, but Andrew Palmer (4-28) set Tish up to chase a very gettable total.

But Dan Sutton (3-18) and Fitzpatrick (2-13) ensured a tense finale after Brennan Devonald had top scored for Tish for 28.

However, Danny Flynn (16 not out) struck the winning runs as the visitors got home by three wickets in the penultimate over.

The second round ties were completed last night - and there was a cracker at Cresselly as the home side posted 178-9 against Narberth.

Opener Adam Chandler (50) made a half century, as Ben Quartermaine (3-41) made inroads for Narberth.

Richard Adams (21), Aaron Keane (26), Shane Morgan (28) and Kyle Quartermaine (32) all took the Division Two side within touching distance of an unlikely win, but they fell six runs short of victory at 173-5 as Ryan Lewis (3-36) helped stem the tide for Cresselly.

Finally, champions Haverfordwest overcame a brave effort of Division Three team Hook, who posted 120-7 thanks to Aled Phelps (27 not out), namesake Jamie (26), and Tom Blaxland (23).

But Kieran O'Connor (4-15) and Adam James (3-37) kept The Town well on top, before skipper Danny Potter (73 not out) set up a seven wicket win for his side.
