Rugby loving pupils in Ysgol Bro Gwaun will attempt to enter the Guinness Book of Records this morning - by setting a new benchmark for the number of consecutive passes by a team of unlimited size.

Between 11.30am-1.30pm this morning, more than 300 staff members and pupils will descens on the school pitches to try and break the current record of 279.

All passes must be made backwards over a distance of five metres, and if a ball is dropped the count will start again.

Rugby Hub Officer for the school Chrish Shousha said: "The event is receiving massive support from the region and WRU, and is part of an inclusive strategy of the Rugby Hub in promoting participation and enjoyment of the game."
