FAW Trophy:

Cwmcarn Athletic v Hakin United

A trip like this is never going to be easy, but Hakin take on a Cwmcarn side that have lost four of their five league games in the Newport & District League Division One this season.

The Vikings themselves go in off the back of a 7-3 West Wales Cup win over the Carmarthen Stars, although that tie tested them, with Kristan Bennett's side needing extra time first.

Hakin have lost just once in league and cup action all season, and if they travel at full strength, should be favourites here.

Goodwick United v Penlan Social

On the one hand, an extremely difficult tie for the Phoenix Boys.

On the other, they will be delighted to have one of the pre-cup favourites at home.

Penlan were runners up in last season's FAW Trophy and currently sit second in the Swansea Senior League Division One - but Goodwick are no strangers to handling difficult opponents in cup ties.

Wayne O'Sullivan's side will be fired up and full of momentum after putting past 10 past Lamphey last Saturday - seven of which went to their star performer this season, Jordan Griffiths.

If the home side can stay solid at the back, and the likes of Griffiths, Chris O'Sullivan and Jonny Horgan can again fire for them in attack, they have every chance.

Grange Albion v Merlins Bridge

The Wizards strolled past Solva in the Senior Cup last week, but the journey alone makes this a tougher task for them.

Having said that, Albion are struggling in the South Wales Alliance Premier Division this season, third from bottom with one win to their name.

Bridge look solid at the moment, they have a formed a solid defensive unit, boosted by the signing of Richard Hughes and the experience of Chris Ormond, and have weapons aplenty going forward.

If they perform to how they can, Nathan Thomas' side should prevail.

Manderwood Pembrokeshire League Division One (2.30pm):

Angle v Pennar Robins

Angle began the season with three straight league wins - followed by three straight losses.

Goals from Chris Richards, Josh Richards, and Patrick McDonagh did help them see off Cosheston in the Senior Cup last week, and they will see this as a real chance to get back to winning ways in Division One as well.

Pennar have shown improvements in cup competitions of late, but after a good start, ended up beaten 5-1 by West Dragons on the weekend.

They desperately need some kind of result here to climb off the foot of the table.

Clarbeston Road v Carew

The clash of the day in Division One, with both sides going in on the back of good league form, and a second round win in the Senior Cup.

The signing of Sam Christopher, and inevitable goals, has boosted what was already a solid Carew squad. And whilst it is too early to say if they will be genuine title contenders, I expect them to last the pace in the top half of the table at the very least.

But tomorrow they face a Clarbie side equally as capable of challenging the top sides. Since their poor start, they have won four league games in five, their only defeat a narrow 2-1 loss to Hakin at The Obs.

Both are capable of playing attacking football and scoring goals, and while I can see this being close, I don't envisage a tight 0-0.

Lamphey v Neyland

Lamphey's form is now becoming somewhat of a concern, with just four points in six games, and a 10-2 hammering at Goodwick last Saturday.

Losing Sam Southcott has been a further blow, but whilst I still think they have too much to be drawn into a relegation dogfight, they need to start picking up points soon, especially at home.

Neyland themselves have been erratic of late, but would have regained confidence by hammering Kilgetty in what appeared on paper a tricky Senior Cup tie last Saturday.

Youngster Geraint Rees was back in the goals with a hat trick, but they will now want to get their league campaign back on track after conceding 10 goals to Clarbie last time out.

Monkton Swifts v West Dragons

Monkton have quietly moved up to fourth place after three straight league wins, with a Ryan Griffiths brace helping them see off Herbie 3-2 last week.

The Dragons were comfortable in winning 5-1 at Pennar in the Senior Cup, but having already dropped nine points in their opening six league games, know they can ill afford anymore slip ups if they are to have a chance of challenging at the top.

But The Swifts were forced to postpone their home game with Hakin a few weeks ago when their pitch fell foul to the weather, and with some severe rain promised for the morning - this one may be in doubt.

Narberth v Milford United

After only being notified they were staying in the top flight in August, and then enduring a difficult start, Narberth deserve credit for their recent response.

Inspired by the goals of Dafydd Wright, they sit on nine points - the exact difference between them and tomorrow's opponents.

The Robins are only three points from safety mind, and will go into tomorrow with some renewed confidence after a win at Treboeth in the West Wales Cup last time out.

Tomorrow is big for both teams. Narberth have a chance to put further daylight between them and the bottom two, while Milford will eye an opportunity to finally get off the mark.
