Finnan Arthur, one of Trefloyne Golf Club’s junior stars, continued his winning form with a brilliant showing in the Langland Bay Junior Open 0-12 handicap competition.
Playing off 12 on a course he was not familiar with, he produced another sparkling display of stroke play to rack up a win with 40 points - 2 clear of second place.
This performance earned him another 1 stroke handicap cut meaning his desire to reach single figures in this year is within reach.
Speaking afterwards Finnan said he was “delighted to have won” and thanked all those involved for the support.
Although only 14 years old, Finnan is a regular member of the Trefloyne golf club Dyfed League team, who play in the first division of the league.
The current Dyfed team Captain John Voysey said of Finnan: “he is a joy to play with and a truly lovely young man . His talent and potential are enormous and we will all watch his development with tremendous interest. I am delighted at his win and wish him many more successes.”
Finnan’s father Simon is also a member of Trefloyne Golf Club and was last year’s nett club champion playing off a handicap of 4.
