MIKE Chandler scored a superb hat-trick to ensure Neyland defeated Tenby to stay fourth in the table.

The visitors had a lot of possession but failed to really trouble Nomads’ goalkeeper Patrick Hannon as much as they should have.

Chandler banged in the opener on ten minutes. But the lead was short-lived as Seasiders’ striker Jordan Richards equalised in the 20th minute. But just before the interval Chandler was in the right place at the right time to lash home his side’s second and give Neyland a two-one cushion at half time.

The visitors squared matters in the 55th minute when Kyran Lewis planted a firm header past Hannon.

But straight from the kick-off deadly striker Chandler banged in his third goal to complete a thoroughly deserved hat-trick.

The Seasiders pushed hard for an equaliser but Mike Lewis’ side got hit on the counter-attack as Neyland player/boss Paul Hannon drilled in the fourth to wrap up the points for his high-flying team.
