WALES’ Euro 2016 hero Hal Robson-Kanu admits he’ll have to come up with a new move as Premier League defenders will be prepared for the Cruyff turn that bamboozled Belgium in the summer.

Robson-Kanu’s goal in the Euros quarter-final in Lille made him a star but, after leaving Reading at the end of last season, he was without a club until transfer deadline day.

He eventually agreed a deal with West Bromwich Albion, where he will link up with Newport-born boss Tony Pulis.

And, as he prepares to make his debut at AFC Bournemouth tomorrow, the forward is aiming to hit the ground running and grab the headlines again.

Asked about that moment against Belgium, Robson-Kanu said: “I may have to think of something else to do now, but it is about goals and making an impact and that is what I try to do.

“I did nothing in the summer that I haven't been doing normally. It was just on a different stage so I will be looking forward to doing it in the Premier League now.

“It was a busy summer for me,” he added. “There was a lot of negotiations here and abroad but in the end we agreed with West Brom and I am delighted.

“The Premier League is where you want to play, it is the best league in the world. I am looking forward to expressing myself in it.”

Robson-Kanu came off the bench in Wales’ 4-0 win over Moldova on Monday night – his first action since the Euro 2016 semi-final defeat to Portugal on July 6.

“It was nice to get some minutes under my belt,” he said. “It has been a busy summer for me for a number of reasons but now I am back on the field and back focused on football.

“A lot of lads have been playing for nearly two months training and playing. That was just my first week but I have been keeping myself fit and am a fit lad.

“Hopefully I showed I am nearly up to speed. I will go back to my club and work hard under Tony Pulis and try and force my way into the team.”
