DOCTOR Who's Tardis has travelled to all sorts of far-flung places, but it landed in Bradford's City Park today as part of a BBC exhibition which is touring the country this week.

It was one of many programmes on show for the BBC's Christmas Premiere Tour, which began in Newcastle on Saturday and ends in York this Sunday.

The event proved a hit with youngsters too, with hundreds of them being treated to screening of classic CBeebies hits such as Zog and The Midnight Gang.

For those who prefer something slightly more risqué, there is a screening of the two seasonal specials of popular Irish sitcom Mrs Brown's Boys, starting at 6:30pm this evening.

Excited Whovian, and Bradford Bulls commentator, Mick Gledhill had his photo taken with the Tardis, and he told the Telegraph & Argus: "I was just walking through Bradford city centre and saw it.

"I think it was an invite only event but I got chatting and they let me have a look around."

"They were showing trailers on a big screen and there were Daleks there too. They weren't filming an episode but the Tardis they were using is the one from the actual show."
