CARDIGAN’S Theatr Mwldan will be screening a live broadcast of the National Theatre’s dazzling new production Julie – starring award-winning actor, Vanessa Kirby (The Crown, A Streetcar Named Desire) – on Thursday, September 6 (7pm).

Co-starring Eric Kofi Abrefa (The Amen Corner), this brand new production, directed by Carrie Cracknell (NT Live: The Deep Blue Sea) will broadcast live from the National Theatre to cinemas across the UK.

Wild and newly single, Julie throws a late night party. In the kitchen, Jean and Kristina clean up as the celebration heaves above them. Crossing the threshold, Julie initiates a power game with Jean – which rapidly descends into a savage fight for survival.

This new version of August Strinberg’s play Miss Julie, written by Polly Stenham, remains shocking and fiercely relevant in its new setting of contemporary London.

Tickets for National Theatre Live screenings are priced at £12.50 full price (£11.50 concessions) and are available now from Theatr Mwldan’s box office on 01239 621200, on-line at www.mwldan.co.uk or via the Mwldan app.
