PEMBROKESHIRE's Bella Voce is sharing the Christmas spirit with their annual festive concert in St Mary's Church, Tenby on Friday (December 21).

The 16-member female choir - the majority of whom are music teachers - has enjoyed another fun-filled musical year in 2018.

The undoubted highlight was their performance in May at the Royal Albert Hall, where they were chosen to appear as the guest artistes in the 2018 Festival of Welsh Male Voice Choirs.

Said Bella Voce musical director, Sarah Benbow: "It was such an incredible experience, and a privilege to be able to put Pembrokeshire on the national music scene again."

A tour in Ireland beckons for the Bellas in the autumn, and they are currently preparing to record another cd early in the new year, with a special launch evening planned for the summer.

Meanwhile, the lively group is tuning up for Friday's Christmas concert at 6.30pm, where the audience will be able to hear some old favourites, plus new songs, both festive and traditional.

Doors open at 5.45pm and admission is £10 (£5 for under-12s) on the door.
