ERIN Bardwell Collective is an energetic, accomplished five-piece Trojan Reggae/ Rocksteady/Ska band established in 2003 and will be performing at Cardigan’s Small World Theatre on Saturday, March 16 (8pm).

If you enjoy live music you will love Erin Bardwell Collective as they are truly infectious and ambassadors for Ska with attitude with an organ-driven early boss reggae style with male and female vocals.

They play their own tunes with that late 60s/early 70s Trojan/Studio One sound, one of the very few bands in the UK at the moment focusing on this period.

Band leader Erin was previously in The Skanxters. For years the band mainly focused on their own material as they toured the live circuit.

Expect to hear a brilliant set with material from their studio album project ‘The Great Western Reggae Soundclash’ 2017, plus some ska classics including songs by Desmond Dekker, Jimmy Cliff, Toots and& The Maytals, The Pioneers and Dave & Ansell Collins.

The band will be supported on the night by local DJ Mr A who will be turning his attention to all things Jamaican with an eclectic mix of rocksteady, reggae and ska from the 60's and 70's.

Expect the unexpected and put on your dancing shoes to a strictly vinyl set of classics from Studio One, Toots, Wailers, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, Jackie Mittoo, Soul Vendors and the like. Funky Kingston comes to Cardigan!

This is going to be a great gig, and a night out to look forward to so put the date in your diary, get your tickets soon and tell your friends. Tickets available online at smallworld.org.uk
