Prolific DJ-duo, The Allergies, who are at the top table of funk, soul and hip-hop come to Pembrokeshire to funk it up at Haverhub on Saturday.
With their spicy fusion of breaks, funky basslines, horns, and dancefloor grooves, inspired by funk, soul, disco and hip-hop this is gonna be a great dance event.
The Allergies are winners of two BBC 6 Music Album of the Day͛ awards and since forming in 2012 have made a name for themselves with their take on sample-led beats and breaks.
Ollie, from Timbali, will provide the support act. Hailing from Pembrokeshire, Ollie is a DJ, producer and musician of reggae, dancehall and dub.
Ollie’s signature sound has been described as an authentic, modern take on reggae. Having already supported the likes of David RamJam Rodigan, Lethal Bizzle, Nevil Staples and the Skints, Timbali is collaborating with established artists within the reggae and dance-hall scene, including Lutan Fyah, Skarra Mucci, Peppery and Blackout Ja.
