Owen rocks back to the Queens Hall

RADIO Wales star Owen Money is rocking back to his roots with a show at the Queens Hall, Narberth.

Owen performed many times at the Queens Hall in the 1960s and 70s and will be returning to the stage on May 25 with The Travelling Wrinklies.

“It’s a show with songs, music and a bit of comedy,” said Owen who formed the band as part of his love of live entertainment and the revival of the music of the 60s.

“I can remember some very good nights at the Queens Hall and I’m really looking forward to this one.”

The band will be performing hits from the likes of the Four Seasons, the Beach Boys, the Hollies and the Beatles to name but a few. Prepare to be catapulted back to a fantastic era of sharp dressing and fabulous songs as well as the dancing.

Owen Money has recreated probably harmony band The Bystanders of which he was the lead singer. Glen Speary is on lead guitar, Ken Gregory on bass, Gwyn Jones on drums, and Jerry Cody on keyboards; four of whom enjoyed touring Europe in the 70s and 80s with the successful Taffy Apple.
