A Christmas bonanza of displays is taking place at Oriel Q in Narberth until December 21.

'Objects of Desire' includes high quality works by reputed artists and makers, including ceramics, furniture and small works.

In Oriel Fach is an exhibition 'The Shape of Sound' by musician and artist Hilary Bryanston where she attempts to fuse the two art forms to give colour and shape to music.

Her work hovers on the brink of abstraction yet still maintains narrative elements. There will be music by Ant Hill Blues, in which she usually takes a musical part, on Saturday, December 7.

'Small Canvases' – a show of six by eight-inch canvases gives an opportunity to win a small painting at a reasonable price.

Canvases have been given to many local artists and supporters to paint. Sealed bids can be left at the gallery and the auction will also be run as live and online, closing on December 21.

Any paintings not sold in this way can be won at the Oriel Q Christmas Party and Raffle Event on Saturday, December 21, at 2pm.

Raffle tickets can be bought for £5 at the gallery (open Wednesday to Saturday from 10am-4.30pm).

Another very tempting prize is a rather fabulous hamper. Email info@orielqnarberth.com for information.

The gallery will close for all of January 2020, re-opening on February 8 with an exhibition of members' work.
