SCHOOLCHILDREN in Milford Haven proved many heads (and tails) are better than one, when they worked together to raise money for new play equipment.
Children at Hakin Infants School recently raised a whopping £600 through six ‘Fun Friday’ fundraisers.
As well as dressing up in fancy frocks, sporting ‘crazy hair’ and silly socks, pupils also collected up all the copper coins they came across.
To celebrate their haul – which will be used to buy more outdoor learning resources for the school - on the last day of term pupils spent the afternoon crafting a huge coin collage of the school’s logo in the playground.
Class teacher Mrs Sarah Evans said all the pupils had worked really hard to raise the cash, and had all enjoyed getting involved in the collage too.
