BRAVE swimmers dived into the cold waters of the Parrog, Newport on New Year’s Day.
They were among swimmers across Wales battling the chills to welcome in 2016 by raising money for good causes.
Newport town mayor Andrew Benham was among those taking a dip, and more than £110 was collected for the mayor’s fund during the event, which was supported by Newport Boat Club.
