POLICE found cannabis growing in a Neyland man’s bedroom, a court has heard.
Damian John Hill, aged 38, of 32 Gordon Parry Road, pleaded guilty to cannabis production when he appeared at Haverfordwest magistrates court on Tuesday.
The court heard that a search warrant was executed at Hill’s address on September 9, and four plants were discovered inside a wardrobe in his bedroom.
He admitted to police officers that the plants were his, and said he intended to smoke them himself once they matured.
Mark Layton, defending, told magistrates his client had made a full and frank admission, and only two of the small plants would have yielded any cannabis.
Hill was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.
