YOU don’t have to be in the UK to fundraise for Wales Air Ambulance, thought Melinda Roach of Neyland.
Melinda, who is the daughter of Milford Haven Wales Air Ambulance volunteer Marian Rees, decided to seek sponsorship for a sky dive she intended completing whilst on her holidays.
The holiday consisted of following the British and Irish Lions on their tour of New Zealand and while at Lake Taupo in the North Island Melinda successfully completed her challenge of sky diving for her charity.
The money she raised was match funded by her employer, Barclays Bank, and she handed over to Tony Key the Wales Air Ambulance Coordinator for Pembrokeshire a cheque for £420.
