ANOTHER vacancy has opened up on Milford Haven Town Council.

The council currently has two empty seats in its Central and Hubberston Wards.

Jon Thrower, who represented the latter, has left the council after only attending one meeting since he was elected last summer.

It is understood his lack of attendance was due to personal reason.

There is also a seat going in the central ward, following the resignation of Byron Jenkins in December.

If the central seat is contested, a notice period will begin on February 15, and an election will take place on Thursday, March 22.

At present, both seats could still be filled by co-option.
