Police have appealed for witnesses following an allegation that a footballer was attacked shortly after the final whistle of a local cup match at the weekend.
Neyland entertained Hakin United on Saturday, February 17 in the Senior Cup quarter-final.
Hakin won the game by two goals to nil.
But there was a flashpoint shortly after full time which has led to an allegation of assault being passed to police.
It is understood a Hakin United player was punched.
A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesman, said: "Dyfed-Powys Police received a report of an assault at Neyland Athletic Club at just before 4pm on February 17.
"A man in his 20s was left with a black eye.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact police by calling 101."
