FANTASY and fairytales were the order of the day at St Francis School last week.
The Milford Haven school celebrated World Book Day with a busy schedule of events, and pupils and staff in fancy dress.
Harry Potter was a popular choice, with the Weasleys, Mad-Eye Moody and members of Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Gryffindor among those working their magic.
Teachers also entertained pupils with a spot of hocus pocus, mixing science and playtime to create bubbling potions aplenty.
Other outfit choices included heroes, from comic book to sporting, nursery rhyme characters, ducklings, sheep, princesses and unicorns.
World Book Day is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and reading.
The biggest celebration of its kind, it is marked in more than 100 countries all over the world.
This year was the 21st such annual event.
