The Pride-themed event at the Pill Social Centre was organised by outgoing mayor Cllr Colin Sharp, to mark the end of his year in office.

Yvonne Arnott, who has volunteered at every one of the festive parties, was also recognised with a special mayor's award.
Awards also went to Pill Social Centre volunteers Teresa Evans and Rose and Emma Picton, who were thrilled to also receive £1,000 from the mayor's fund.

A donation in memory of Cllr Sharp's mother was also made to Paul Sartori.
