SO SOLID Crew's Lisa Maffia and Romeo will perform in Milford Haven this Saturday, as part of the town's annual carnival.

The '21 Seconds' singers will headline the Radio Pembrokeshire sound stage, joining Narberth songwriter Caroline Harrison and Milford Mercury Talent Show winner Connor Adams.

The gig will follow a procession of floats and fancy dress walkers, led by Milford Haven Town Band and the city of Swansea Pipe Band, who will make set off from Waterloo Square at 1pm, snaking through the town centre towards Pill Fields.

Top prize for best float is a whopping £1,000, with a guaranteed £100 prize for all entries, plus smaller gifts for walking entries.

As well as live music on the carnival field, little ones will be kept entertained by children's entertainers including balloon modelling displays from Little Monsters, 'dinosaurs', 'unicorns' and an amazing display of falconry, face painting and displays.

Also on offer will be a food court, a large fairground and a number of stalls selling a wide variety of fantastic products.

Entry to the field is still only £1 for adults and 50p for children/concessions and as usual there will be no alcohol permitted within the field.
