CIRCUS ringmasters, Sith lords and bearded ladies paraded through the streets of Neyland on Saturday (July 14).
This year’s summer carnival was better than ever, with an incredible selection of fancy floats and wonderful walking entries.
Gunnings Bar revved up their engines as Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, while The Forresters travelled back to the roaring 20s.
Animals, magicians, acrobats and more showed off their skills in two circus-themed entries from Harbour Close and the Rose and Willow, while Neyland AFC put their best foot forward in tribute to this year’s World Cup.
Grease, Star Wars, Mario, Princess Peach and Jane McDonald also had their time in the spotlight, with VC Gallery, 1st Neyland Rainbows and others also showing off their colours.
Hundreds of people came out to wave on the procession, led by Milford Haven Town Band, before it headed back to the Athletic Club field.
Mayor Cllr Simon Hancock praised the work of the small but dedicated team of volunteers, without whose work over the past few months the family-friendly fun day would not have happened.
