A PEMBROKESHIRE dental practice is creating a 'green legacy' by offering to plant a tree for every dental implant it undertakes.
Herbrandston and Narberth Dental Health Practices completes around 100 implants a year, and under its new scheme patients having this treatment will be able to select a tree for planting.
"As one of the leading dental practices in west Wales we thought this would be a great way for us to not only promote beautiful smiles but to also help the environment," said practice manager Liam Boulcott.
"We place implants within the practice on a weekly basis, and have been doing so for the last 15 years.
"To celebrate this fact we created 'implant a tree' in away to give back to nature by planting trees on behalf of our patients.
"We hope to show that we are doing good for the environment and to encourage other local businesses to perhaps think of doing something of a similar vein depending on their resources.
"We hope to continue this for many years to come, and expect a forest to be our legacy."
