THE Young Music Makers of Dyfed charity is once again offering free masterclasses to young instrumentalists who are of Grade 5 equivalent standard or above.
The masterclasses will be led by Andrew Wilson-Dickson and Kevin Price from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, and held at Rhosygilwen on the weekend of October 27 and 28. Closing date for applications is until October 17, but the 30 available slots will be allocated on a first come, first served, basis.
All students that participate will benefit from a constructive experience with two excellent and experienced musicians, in an informal and friendly environment.
Five will be selected to go on to compete for the Young Musician of Dyfed 2019 award, and further significant performing opportunities beyond that.
