TALENT show winner Connor Adams will be among artists taking part in a special fundraising concert next April.

Jeff Dunn, much-loved Mercury writer and longtime charity supporter is 'getting the old gang back together' in aid of Paul Sartori and Withybush Cancer Day Unit.

"It's nearing the 25th anniversary of the very first time I dared to put on a show in the Torch Theatre, and, to help me celebrate that milestone, and also raise funds for two local charities, Wayne Morse and I are once again collaborating to bring to the stage a variety show which, hopefully, will stir up some of those long lost, best loved, musical memories," said Jeff.

Following previous shows such as Magic Moments and The Fabulous 50s and 60s, next April, The Super Sounds of the Sixties will hit the Torch stage with an exciting combination of songs, dance, laughter and surprises.

"It will be the first Torch show I've done without the involvement of the late, great Roger Arnold," said Jeff.

"But we are thrilled that Roger's son, stand-up comedian David, will be the show's main compere.

"And, as it happens, David was also in my first Torch production."

Wayne Morse's firm EPS Events helped ensure the smooth running of last year's Mercury Talent Show for Paul Sartori, which raised almost £4,000.

Providing slick sounds and staging, and breathtaking lighting, he has worked all over the UK, and will once again be lending his eye for detail to this worthy cause.

"Over the next six months, with the Mercury's help, I'll be sharing details of all the performers... some of whom were in our earlier productions, and other exciting new local talents, including the winner of last year's Mercury Talent Contest, Connor Adams," said Jeff.

"If, like me, you love 60s music, I'm sure this show will be right up your street."
