People who might otherwise spend Christmas alone are once again invited to feast with new-found friends.

The annual event regularly sees around 100 guests come together to share a festive meal, carols and an afternoon of fun.

On Saturday, October 20, 106 invitations were sent to those who attended Christmas Together last year or subsequently expressed a wish to attend in 2018.

Places are still available for both guests and volunteers who would otherwise be on their own on Christmas Day.

Now in its seventh year, Christmas Together has been hugely successful in bringing people together on for some, the loneliest day of the year.

It continues to be fully supported by volunteers and donations, and is a great example of local people, organisations and businesses working together for the benefit of the community.

There are no requirements for someone to attend Christmas Together other than them confirming that they would otherwise be on their own on Christmas Day.

Held at Pill Social Centre, Milford Haven, the day provides a fun, friendly and relaxed atmosphere, along with a three-course festive lunch and Christmas entertainment.

Once again, the event is provided free of charge for all attendees which includes free transport for those who would otherwise be unable to attend.

If you would like to find out more about Christmas Together, please contact the event founder, Cllr Guy Woodham, by emailing christmastogether@hotmail.co.uk or writing to him at 4, Coombs Drive, Milford Haven, Pembrokeshire, SA73 2NZ.

Forms are also available from Milford Haven Town Hall and the Pill Social Centre.
