THE Co-op supermarket at Newcastle Emlyn could be on the move.
Rumours have been circulating for months that the store on Sycamore Street could be relocating and while no firm decision has yet been taken, it seems now that something could be in the pipeline.
It has been confirmed that alternative sites have been looked at by supermarket bosses.
A spokesperson for the Co-op, said: “The Co-op continually looks for locations to open new food stores to better serve its members and customers, and operate at the heart of local life.
“We have looked at sites in the area, however no decisions have as yet been taken.”
The current town centre site has no parking and the main road outside is often congested as drivers park on double yellow lines to use the supermarket.
