URGENT donations of tinned vegetables and tinned meat are needed by a county-wide foodbank in the final few days before Christmas.
PATCH (Pembrokeshire Action To Combat Hardship) closes for the festive period at noon this Friday (December 21), re-opening on January 3 at 10am.
But a flurry of requests in the last few days have left the charity's shelves almost empty.
Anyone who has food to donate this week can do so at the Captain Superintendents Office in Pembroke Dock dockyard between 10am and 2pm on Tuesday; its new base in Waterloo Road, Hakin, Milford Haven, between 10am and 2pm on Wednesday and Thursday; or between 10am until noon on Friday in Haverfordwest or Milford Haven.
Please note only donations of money, tinned or storecupboard foods, or new toys can be accepted in the run-up to Christmas.
