MORE than 200 people came out to meet Father Christmas in Neyland on Friday (December 14)

His sleigh did a lap of the town before returning to pulling up at his grotto at St Clements Church Hall where he met with local youngsters.

Mayor of Neyland Simon Hancock said: "I hope all the children and parents enjoyed the Father Christmas visit to Neyland.

"Over 200 attended and everyone seemed to really enjoy it.

"Thanks to Jane, Gareth, Bill, Peter and of course Father Christmas and all who helped.

"Father Christmas said he would be returning to Neyland on Christmas Day."
