THREE men have been arrested following an alleged ram raid at Llandysul on Boxing Day.

A 47-year-old Milford Haven man, a man aged 47 from Haverfordwest, and a Pencader area man, 32, have been arrested on suspicion of burglary, arson and taking a motor vehicle without consent.

The burglary happened at approximately 6am on Boxing Day (Wednesday, December 26) at CK’s supermarket, Pencader Road, Pontwelly, Llandysul.

A silver car, believed to have been stolen, was used to hit the front door to gain entry and a quantity of alcohol was stolen.

The vehicle was later found burnt out in the Pencader area.

Following a number of inquiries three men were arrested at a property in the Pencader area.

They currently remain in police custody.

Anyone who saw a silver car travelling around Llandysul and Pencader between 6am and 8am on December 26, or any other suspicious activity around this time, is asked to contact Dyfed-Powys police on 101.
