MEMBERS of Neyland Town Council recently paid a visit to the town's 'transformed' youth club.

Situated to the rear of the High Street car park the club is open to young people three nights a week and has a high number of attendees.

The club is led by Andrea Jenkins and Jo Bates and they lead a large number of different activities.

A youth forum has been formed consisting of 11 boys and girls and they nominated Greenacres animal rescue as their charity of the year.

The club organises many different events and outings and they will be meeting the town council in February to discuss youth issues in the town.

The Mayor, Councillor Hancock said: "The club building was in a poor state of repair when they moved in four years or so.

"The young people and their leaders have completely transformed the building with repairs, redecoration, new furniture and facilities.

"It is a wonderful facility."
