A CHEQUE for £500 was recently presented to the Alzheimer’s Society by Havenhurst home and day centre staff.
Staff at the Milford Haven facility walked ten miles in inclement weather from Neyland Marina to Haverfordwest last year.
The manager, Tere-Jane John, said she was proud of all the staff and hoped to make the walk an annual event.
Havenhurst supports people with varying levels of dementia and other mental health problems.
