A drug-driving dog groomer had been banned from the road for a year.
Danielle Rendall, of Gelliswick Road, Hakin, pleaded guilty to driving while over the controlled drug limit when she appeared before Haverfordwest magistrates on Tuesday, February 12.
The court heard that Rendall’s silver Peugeot was stopped on Western Way, Pembroke Dock, on October 6.
Mark Layton, defending, said Rendall, 20, was previously of clean character, and had written to the court to express her remorse regarding the offence.
“She had some family issues. That was the first and the last time that she had every used cannabis.”
Mr Layton added that the loss of her driving licence could affect Rendall’s work as a dog groomer.
Rendall was banned from driving for 12 months and fined £120. She will also pay £85 court costs and a £30 surcharge.
