A WOMEN'S wellness day saw residents of the Mount Estate enjoy an afternoon of pampering for just £1.
Held at the estate's community centre on Monday, the event saw health and beauty students from Milford Haven School work alongside the professionals from Renatus hair and beauty in Charles Street to offer free trims, hairstyling, manicures, massages and more.
The event was planned to mark International Women's Day, on March 8, which celebrates the achievements of women and girls across the world.
Gemma Baker, of Milford Haven School, said it had been a great opportunity for students to practice the skills they have been learning on 'real' customers.
"It has boosted their confidence, and they have been able to work on their social skills too, which is a big part of it if they want to do this as a career."
Renatus stylist Rachel Williams used to live the Mount, and said it was lovely to help out and bring people together.
