MILFORD Haven's Torch Theatre recorded a full house when the Pembrokeshire Federation of Women's Institutes (WIs) staged their annual performance of Anything Goes.

Members and their friends from across the county came together to make the fundraising night a great success.

The audience enjoyed performances from Clynderwen and Llandissilio WI with a sketch entitled Plastic Pollution Party; followed by the Mathry's stage spot aptly named Mayhem and Menevia WI's GDP Whatever That Is?.

Milford Haven WI took the stage with Friends and Benefits; New Hedges WI chipped in with Staying Alive with the Nolton branch and Puncheston following with Circus Notorious Fantasticus and Market Capers respectively.

Members of Milford WI organised the successful fundraiser raffle and also donated many of the prizes and thanked were by the able compere for the evening county treasurer, Daphne Morgan, who kept the evening moving smoothly.

The responsibility for putting on the show fell to Pat James, the Federation trustee, who said: "It was a wonderful evening and a huge thanks must go to all the WIs who took part and supported this increasingly popular event."

Her remarks were endorsed by Federation chairman Jenny Longland, who added: "So much hard work has to be put in to achieve the standard that has delighted a large audience this evening."
