A MILFORD Haven Road will be closed today for emergency repair work to be carried out on a burst water main.
Pembrokeshire County Council issued a notice about the closure of Pill Road, Milford Haven earlier today (Tuesday, April 2) saying the closure would last for two days.
The road will be closed from around 21 Pill Road to the junction with access to 29 Pill Road.
The county council said there will be an alternative route will be along Great North Road A4076 Pill Lane and Pill Road.
A council notice said: "The restrictions imposed by this notice will not apply to those vehicles associated with the works, emergency service vehicles or vehicular access to affected properties where practicable and will only apply during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs.
"It is anticipated that this closure will be completed within the timeframe stated above, however, this notice may continue in force for a period not exceeding 21 days, after which time its provision may be extended by another notice under the same act if necessary.
"Pedestrian access will be maintained for the duration of the closure."
