A PETROL station was broken into overnight in a ram raid, Dyfed-Powys Police has confirmed.

A vehicle was used to force open the doors of the Spar shop connected to the Texaco petrol station on Great North Road, Milford Haven.

The vehicle was later found abandoned on the Mount Estate, Milford Haven.

A police spokesman said: “Police are investigating a burglary which occurred in the early hours of this morning, Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at the petrol station, Great North Road, Milford Haven.

“A vehicle was used to gain entry. The vehicle was later found abandoned on the Mount Estate, Milford Haven.

“Enquiries are continuing to establish what was stolen.”

The Western Telegraph understands that the shop is now open after forensic officers examined the scene.
