YOUNG plastic-free champions in Neyland have been rewarded for their eco-friendly work.
Neyland’s Plastic Free Champions received special awards on Tuesday, April 30, for their significant efforts to reduce single use plastic.
The awards were given out by Mayor Simon Hancock to the Alumchine Restaurant, Manillas Café, and Neyland Athletic Club.
Any business that is prepared to significantly reduce its use of single use plastic can apply to be a champion.
