POLICE said a man arrested in Milford Haven during an incident involving armed officers has been released with no further action.
Police responded on Saturday afternoon following reports that a man had a knife near the Richard John Road area and a man was arrested following a search.
Dyfed-Powys Police told the Milford Mercury today (Tuesday): “Dyfed-Powys Police responded to a report concerning the welfare of a man threatening to harm himself, at around 4.25pm on Saturday, May 18. He was reported to be in possession of a knife.
"Armed and unarmed officers commenced a search in the Mount Estate/Richard John Road area. The man presented himself to officers at Richard John Road at around 7.10pm.
"He was arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife in a public place and causing fear/provoking violence. He has since been released from custody with no further police action. Nobody was injured during the incident.”
