JEFF has only gone and Dunn it again!

Mercury columnist Jeff Dunn has smashed through the £5,000 barrier with his latest show 'The Super Sounds of the Sixties' which packed out the Torch Theatre for two nights last month.

The audience absolutely loved the journey through musical nostalgia and there was an extra surprise as Jeff was handed awards for outstanding fundraising and commitment in the local community.

The beneficiaries of the money made on both nights are the local charities Paul Sartori and the Withybush Cancer Day Unit.

Jeff and Wayne Morse of EPS Ltd handed over the cheque at the Torch last week.

Jeff said: "Thank you to everyone who came along and supported the event and special thanks to the performers. They were fantastic and put on a fabulous show.

"Wayne and I are over the moon with the amount raised - it's been our most successful show yet."

Wayne said: "It was my pleasure to produce this show to benefit all the people in the county that are helped each day by Paul Sartori and the Cancer Day Unit at Withybush Hospital.

"The show was dedicated to all the loved ones lost who couldn't be with us to enjoy it, but I know they would be super proud of what we achieved."

DVDs of the performance will be available to buy soon.
