MILFORD Haven fire-fighters opened the doors of their station to introduce families to their rescue work on Saturday.
Families flocked to the station’s popular open day to meet the crew, view interactive displays and test their aim with the pump hose.
Milford Mayor Terry Davies, who attended the open day, said: "What a day it was. It was well supported and well presented by the firefighters from Milford Haven fire station.
"There was many hands-on displays for the children that attended to take part in. The young firefighters from Pembroke Dock were in attendance as well.
"The fire safety messages throughout the day by Andy Symes from Milford Station were very informative and helpful.
"The station personnel were a credit to the town."
