51 people in court for dropping cigarette litter
FIFTY one people are to face counts of dropping litter at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court today (Thursday).
All 51 face charges of throw down / otherwise deposit litter, contrary to the Environmental Protection Act 1990.
And all 51 cases involve the alleged dropping of cigarette litter, including cigarette butts or rolled cigarettes.
Some 25 of the counts relate to alleged littering in Milford Haven, 11 in Haverfordwest and seven in Tenby.
Other cases relate to Pembroke, Pembroke Dock and Neyland.
