A ST DOGMAELS has been cleared of causing unnecessary suffering to a dog.
Benjamin Jack Smith, of Feidr Fawr, Grove Villas, St Dogmaels, had denied the charge and was cleared by magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre of injuring the dog at Cardigan on December 26 last year.
A charge of failing to ensure the dog received appropriate veterinary care, which the 34-year-old also denied, saw no evidence offered and was dismissed by the bench.
