CARDIGAN lifeboat was yesterday (Sunday, September 15) called out to rescue a fishing boat that had got into trouble.
The volunteer crew was paged at 8.55am following a request from Milford Haven Coastguard operations room to a 19ft fishing boat that had broken down near Caemaes Head.
The lifeboat launched at 9.05am and was on the scene about 10 minutes later.
The vessel was taken in tow and returned to a mooring on the River Teifi at St Dogmaels. The lifeboat was back at its Poppit Sands base by 10.45am.
