AN INTERNATIONAL competition for artwork will see more than 70 pieces displayed at Milford Haven’s Waterfront Gallery early next month.
Wales Contemporary / Cymru Gyfoes has been developed by the Waterfront Gallery in association with the Welsh Government.
Following a call for entries which saw the submission of approximately 500 artworks from across the globe, 76 works have been selected for the inaugural exhibition at the Waterfront Gallery, October 4-30.
The exhibition, selected by artist Janette Kerr, painter Ken Maycock, artist Catrin Webster and Stan MacIlvenny OBE, will then tour to Mall Galleries, London.
An awards ceremony will take place on October 23, with a first prize of £5,000, plus a three-week residency in Milford Haven (February – March 2020) and a one-month solo exhibition at the Waterfront Gallery.
