The first look at what could replace a disused site in Milford Haven town centre has been published and the designers want your views.

The council’s plan for the former Motor World site on Charles Street includes 15 residential flats for older people.

A mix of one and two-bedroom flats are proposed.

Office space is included on the ground floor and basement parking with the plan currently being consulted on by architects HLN Group.

Downstairs will include office space for Pembrokeshire County Council and the site includes indoor and outdoor communal and amenity facilities such as mobility scooter storage.

“Office space is required for the location of the Housing Service within the new development, this is in response to the closure of their current office location and the political desire to have the team located in the centre of the town of Milford Haven. This ties in with regeneration of the town creating footfall in the town centre,” a design and access statement says.

A private rooftop garden and terrace is proposed, with views out over the marina.

The planning application is currently being consulted on before submission.
